When you think of Virtual Reality filming, maybe the Star Wars franchise or the latest Marvel movie springs to mind? But it’s not just Hollywood that’s now using this cutting edge technology. Because this exciting technology is now becoming available to use in corporate video projects of all shapes and sizes. What is VR filming?
This is an exciting development in corporate film making. VR was once the preserve of Hollywood studios, due to its cost, but as the technology has evolved it’s becoming much more budget friendly to use. It gives us the flexibility to shoot in multiple locations – using VR sets – but we stay in the same location. So, one minute the location could be in a park the next minute – with a quick change of background and set dressing – you could be in a trendy loft style apartment.
